- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆It has been reported that this police department has sent officers to Standing Rock to use water-cannons on Native Americans under sub-zero conditions; to wear riot gear; to throw percussion grenades; to spray with tear-gas, pepper-spray, and mace; and to shoot rubber-bullets at peaceful demonstrators. Shameful! Is everyone in Hammond feeling safe, so that officers can be spared to North Dakota to do the work of Big Oil?
